Welcome to my personal website. My name is Trong-Ton Pham. Friends prefer to call me Tony. I comes from Ho Chi Minh city (formerly know as Saigon), southern of Vietnam. I’ve been in France for 2 years (2004 - 2006) to obtain a Master degree at University of Paris 6. Then, I moved to Singapore where I worked as engineer at Institute for Inforcomm Research until 2009. From 2008 to 2010, I prepared my PhD thesis at LIG laboratory and Grenoble-INP. I obtained my Doctorate degree with a distinction from the thesis committees in Dec 2010. Currently, I live in Grenoble, a vibrant city of Rhône-Aples region.

I defended my PhD thesis on 2nd Dec 2010 at: Laboratoire Informatique de Grenoble (LIG) Grenoble Institute of Technology (Grenoble INP) 01/2008 - 12/2010 (3 years)

- Feb 2013: I am no longer a single guy
- Feb - April 2012: had great time in Vietnam with family and to reconnect with friends. August-2012: vacation in Muine and Thailand with my gf
- Aug 2011: co-founded a startup in HCM city for providing financial solution to custumer
- Feb 2011: start my work at Bio2Imaging (a start-up at Montbonnot, Grenoble) as Software Engineer
- 10 Dec 2010: final report and defense slides are available at Publication
- 10 Oct 2010: first manuscript draft -> beta version (sent to reviewers 15 Oct)
- 25 July 2010: paper accepted for journal on Multimedia Tools and Applications
- SIGIR’10 poster accepted (acceptance rate of 30.5%) + travel grant, Geneva 07-2010.
- 23 June 2010: CBMI 2010 in Grenoble, we are ready!
- Magnificent trip back to Vietnam in 02/2010 and to Tunisia in 03/2010 for CORIA conference.
